BODY POUND IN DRAIN
(By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This c Day. The body of Charles William Balmerj a journalist, was found at the bottom of an open drain about 100 yards south of the Belmont Railway Station yesterday. The discovery was made by a railway porter. There was about 3in of water in the drain. The deceased, who was about- 30 years of age, and a marired man, was employed by the New Zealand Dairy Produce “Exporter” Newspaper Company, Ltd., and lived in Stilling street, Lower Hutt. An inquest will be held.
