ANNUAL RALLY OF GOLDEN BAY SUB'UNION At the Annual Rally meeting held-by the Golden Bay Sub-Union of Christian Endeavour on Saturday, 25th January, and Sunday, 26th January, a large number of members and friends were present. Visiting members from Nelson, Tadmor, Motueka, Greymouth, Christchurch and Dunedin served to show the essential unity of the. movement. For the ensuing year, Miss 0. Langford was elected president of , the SubUnion and Mr I. Satherley secretary. Four societies are active in the Golden Bay area—Takaka Senior and Junior, Uruwhenua and Bainham. The possibility of forming another branch is under consideration. It was decided that if possible at least half-yearly visits be made to the outlying societies. The Nel-. son Union president, the Rev. Mr. Edgar, of Motupiko, has promised to visit the district in the near future, which visit is keenly awaited by the local EndeavourOn Saturday afternoon an open-air rally was held at Irvine’s Bush, Central Takaka, Pastor Lowe, of Greymouth, addressing the gathering on “The Need for Service.” Games, swimming, etc., completed the afternoon’s programme.
