South Island croquet match, at Ihe Dominion tourney attracted a large number of spectators. The North Island captured three, out of the four singles, A. G. F. Ross (Christchurch); who defeated H. P. Stratton (Hastings) very easily in straight games, 26-2, 26-5, being the only South Island player to score in this section.
