CHANGING OF CONSTITUTION STATEMENT BY MINISTER (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. “I shall .be only too pleased to discuss the question with the members of the Main Highways Board,” said the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, when invited to comment ou apprehensions voiced at a meeting of the North Island Motor Union yesterday regarding his recent statement that he was contemplating altering the constitution of the board. Mr Semple added that he had never been approached by any member of the North Island Motor Union as to his intentions concerning the board. If, however, he was approached in an official way he would be pleased to discuss the question with the Motor Union or any other organisation concerned.
