FARMERS ON TOUR

On a tour of New Zealand, a party of l(i primary producers from South Australia, arrived at Auckland from Hamilton to-day. The leader of the party, Mr It. C. Scott, said he considered the Waikato district compared more than favourably, with any other part of New Zealand the party lmd visited. “The Waikato will make even greater advances in future, as large areas of the district are still in their natural state,” he said. Points of interest in the city and its environs will be visited and the party will leave for Waitomo Caves to-mor-row afternoon. From there the visitors will travel to New Plymouth and Palmerston North before leaving Wellington for Sydney by the Maunga--nui on 4th February.
