Mr C. Chamberlain, acting-chairman, at last night’s meeting of the Talmnnui Town Board, referring to the death of Mr W. Liddle said that the district had lost one of its best residents. Mr Liddle had done much in the interests of the district and his loss would he greatly felt. Members stood in silence as a mark of respect.
