INCREASE IN EVENTS AND PRIZE

MONEY

Attention is called in an advertisement in these columns to the schedule ol classes for the Wellington Easter Show, to be held from the Ist to the 14th April inclusive. Due to the excellent entries and performances last year, the Association has greatly increased the number of events and prize money for this year’s Show. The horse events, which will occupy three days instead of two as formerly, will be held on Easter Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, and already indications point to very greatly increased entries and interest by the general public.

The manager’s report to tho last meeting of the Association showed that already the whole of the motor section and most of the side-show space, together with a portion of the general exhibit space, had already been booked. The motor space already sold is more than double the amount occupied by cars at the last three Shows, which indicates a wonderful revival in the interest of the Show.

All interested in the competitive classes, and intending exhibitors, are asked to send to the manager of the Association for a. copy of the schedule.
