SAFETY MEASURES
NEW FRENCH PLANE TRAPDOORS (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 14th January, 10.10 a.m.) PARIS, l'3th January. A new F 224 Farman plane includes'a number of experimental trapdoors to enable the passengers to escape quickly in case of emergency. Parachutes are fitted to all seats and it is claimed that everyone is able to jump out of the machine without delay in the event of trouble.
