FRENCHMEN QUARREL
DUEL IN PARIS PARK ONE WOUNDED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) PARIS, Bth January. A real duel was fought in the Parc des Princes between two former schoolfellows, now members of a fashionable circle, says “Le Soil - .” It gives their names as Jacques Dourdin and Fred Angel and their ages as about 25. It says the quarrel arose from an alleged slander. It was arranged that there should he two exchanges of shots, but one was sufficient. Dourdin fell with a bullet in his hip and was rushed to a nursing home, where ail operation was performed. A priest stood at the park gates in case of a need for absolution, also a well-dressed young woman who, when questioned, replied that it .was a question of honour. There was no woman involved.
