J. P. MORGAN COMPANY BIG DEALINGS DISCLOSED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Bth January. Evidence that companies in which the J. P. Morgan Company were interested sold the Allies 363,000,000 dollars’ worth of goods before the United States entered the war was introduced to-day during the Senate investigation of the causes of America’s entry into the war. Altogether, the Morgans purchased 3,000,000,000 dollars’ worth of supplies for the Allies, in which they received a commission of 30,000,000 dollars. It was also disclosed that the Morgans invited the British Government, before America’s entry in the war, to purchase an interest in an American arms factory, and that the firm transmitted confidentially to the British Exchequer advance information concerning the drafts of Notes which President Wilson wrote to the various belligerents.
