NEW ZEALAND VETERANS’ TOURNEY THE SEMI-FINALS PLAYED (By Telegraph—Press Association) ROTORUA, This Day. The semi-finals of the New Zealand golf veterans’ tourney were played under ideal conditions at Ariki Kapakapa leaving W. VV. Maingay (Te Aroha) and E. Wilson (Hamilton) to contest the final of the Veterans’ Cup, and W. O’Callaghan and F. H. Simpson (Napier) to decide the final of the Ariki Kapakapa Cup. Results : Veterans’ Cup contest, fourth round — D. Kusabs (Kaitaia) beat H. Horton (Auckland) I up; .E. Wilson (Hamilton) beat E. F. Snell (Akarana) at the 19th; L. Keys (Glendowie) beat E. Hutchison (Gisborne) at the 21st ; W. Maingay (Te Aroha) beat R. Rainger (Auckland) 1 up. Semi-finals: Wilson beat Kusabs 5 and 4; Maingay beat Keys 3 and 2.
