It is believes that an Australian, Mt Frederick Leonard Mainland, is still alive though gravely injured after a fall o.f 1000 feet from . an. aeroplane in which there were twelve passengers, during a display by Cobham’s “Air Circus” at Esher, Surrey. . % Marsland jumped from the wing, but the parachute did not open, and he fell struggling with the ropes overhead, into a ploughed field.
