IN FLOODED VICTORIAN AREAS HEAVY SEAS INTERRUPT SHIPPING (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 2nd May, 10.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The worst danger in the flooded areas has passed. Householders are returning to their homes which on Tuesday wore under water. Serious damage has been done to pastures. The flooded Yarra is .still causing considerable inconvenience to shipping while high seas are running along the coast, resulting 1 in inter-state steamers being many hours behind schedule.
