LOST WALLET
FAILURE TO RETURN (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND. This Day. A man who found a wallet containing L 6 and neglected to return it until tae police communicated with him was prosecuted to-day on a theft charge. Ho was Arnold A. L. Suiter (23). Evidence was. that the owner of the wallet was riding a motor-cycle and dropped the wallet. A passing postman saw a moto' truck stop and a man pick up the wallet. The owner advertised his loss without result. The police eventually obtained the wallet and the money from Suiter, who said he fully intended to return the property, but owing to pressure of work at rlie time was unable to do. The Magistrate said there was no excuse. If a . man was too busy to find the owner he could have sent the wallet to the police.
