UNSHRINKABLE WOOL
NEW PROMINE PROCESS (Halted Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 15th February. A new phase of unshrinkable wool, beginning with its production by bromine treatment instead of the' Wool Industries Research Association’s chlorine process, is described in the “Textile Mercury.” The article claims that there is less destruction 'and more tensile and torsional strength and improved dyeing. It adds that researches reveal that bromination is preferable to chlorination.
