The death is announced of AH, exKing of the Hedjaz, "and brother of the late King Feisal of Irak. DR. HERBERT GILES (British Official Wireless) RUGBY', 14th February. Dr. Herbert Giles, formerly Professor of Chinese at Cambridge University whose knowledge of the language and literature of China has won for him a world,wide reputation died yesterday, aged 90.
