The total' amount of casli received by the company for shares issued was £4523 18s 2d. Receipts and payments of the company since incorporation until 31st January .were as follows: : Receipts—Amount received on 55,200 shares paid to 3d, £690; on 191,275 shares paid to 4gd, £3586 8s 2d; on 3900 shares paid to 6d; £97 10s; on 3000 snares paid to Is, £150; on 80,050 shares, ilil; total, £4523 18s 2d. Payments. —Amount paid vendors, £1250; printing, legal, stationery, sundry expenses, etc., £ll2 £l6s lOd; preliminary expenses, £1615 10s 6d; balance cash at hand and at bank, £1545 ]os ’Od ; total, £4523 18s 2d. The report stated that it was estimated that a further payment of £6OO would be expended in the preliminary expenses account. The provisional directors were Messrs I. Woolf, T. W. Perry, A. It. GOLCONDA MINES, LIMITED The mine manager reported on 9th February that driving had been continued oil the main reef south west, and advanced sft, total from shaft 84ft. The reef has turned sharply to the left, and we had to come back and shoot the footwall off to heighten the drive. The reef is over 6ft wide, and colours of gold are seen in the footwall ribs of quartz. The hanging wall quartz is now getting more mineralised, and a little zinc blende is seen in the ore.
