A SERIOUS CHARGE

Bartholomew, S.M., John Christie Spence was charged with committing rape at Dunedin on Oth September, and was committed for trial at the next'sittings of the Supreme Court-, hail being allowed, self £4OO, and two sureties of £2OO each'.'
