COMPLETE STOPPAGE THREATENED REDUCTION IN SALARIES (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) TOKIO, 3rd September. Tokio faces a complete (ram and bus stoppage on Tuesday following the city’s discharge of all tramway employees with the option to re-engage many at salaries reduced tc> nearly half. Conductors are-offered 49 yen monthly instead of 105, and motoriuen 50 yen compared with .109. The services are losing heavily. Ten thousand are affected.
