ISLAND CRUISE
DEPARTURE OF AUCKLAND YACHT (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Ist September. The yacht Ngataki left Auckland shortly after three this afternoon on a cruise to Tahiti. On board ar e J. Wray, owner and master, R. Willington, N. Watson, and P. McMahon. The yacht is provisioned for three months and will make its first call at Sunday Island. She has a small auxiliary engine. ' Mr Wray expressed his intention of being back in time to compete in the race to Melbourne, starting on Bth December.
