Mr Latham, Federal Minister of Customs, announced that Cabinet had decided to give further consideration to the question of new cotton duties, which aroused opposition among English manufacturers. STOCKPORT WHOLESALERS JOIN BOYCOTT (Received Ist September, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, 31st August. Stockport wholesale grocers decided not to handle goods of Australian origin.
