EXTENSION OF TERM URGED INAUGURATION OF NEW REFORMS (United Press Association—By Electr!< Telegraph—Copyright) CALCUTTA. 31st August. It is understood that the British Cabinet urged Lord willingdon to accept an extension of his term of office as Viceroy in order to inaugurate the now reforms and direct the policy. Lord Willingdon sadly needs a rest, but it is believed he may undertake a special term of office for three years when the present appointment expires. Ho saye he is anxious to see a self-governing India in being.
