WORLD PRESS CONFERENCE
TO BE HELD AT MELBOURNE NOMINATION OP CHAIRMAN (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MONTREAL, Bth August. A message from Missouri states tliat Dr Walter Williams announced that the Press Congress of the world will be convened at Melbourne next month. The exact dates will be determined by the executive’s committee. The selection of Melbourne is the result of an invitation extended to the Congress president, Mr Robert Bell, of Christchurch, New Zealand, by. the Australian Government and Centenary officers.
Mr Frank L. Martin, associate Dean of Missouri University School of Journalism, lias been nominated as chairman of the convention.
