MINISTER’S “CONTINUED FAV= OURABLE OPINION” DEFINITE REPLY SHORTLY Yesterday when the Hon. W. H. Mclntyre M.L.C., and Mr K. J. Jlolvoake M.P. for Motueka, were in Wellington they approached the PostmasterGeneral,. the Hon. A. Hamilton, regarding a subsidy for the Nelson radio station 2ZR. The Minister assured them of his continued favourable opinion of the claim for a subsidy and nromised a definite decision on the matter within the near future. At the present time two of the Broadcasting Board’s engineers are in Nelson making tests and it is expected their report will be available within the next few days.
