TL initial meeting of the Hiwipango kranih of the W.D.F.U. was held at the residence of Mrs Pi-ouse, “Kainui,” on 2nd llay. Ihi election of officers and committee resuled as follows: —President, Mrs 1 roue; vice-president, Mrs J. Mead ; secreary and treasui-er. Miss R. Ellis; comnittee, Mesdanxes Fawcett, Robinson, iCllis, Wells and Miss Quinney. It pis. decided to hold meetings on the first Wednesday in each month. The Junojiiieeting will be held at the l-esi-dencojof Mrs J. Mead, “Coldsti-eam.”
