LADIES’ HOCKEY CLUB
A STRONGER COMBINATION At a largely attended meeting of the lady members of the Motueka Hockey Club it was decided to enter two teams in the six-a-side tourney and one team in the competition. With the advent of several now players the club shows an advance in strength and will be a much stronger combination than in 1933. Mr s T. Stevens was elected chaperon and manager of the team. Members elected to the committee were Miss L. Dolany and Miss T. Inwood and Miss K. Moynihan was elected secretary. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr s G. James for her interest in the team last season. The successful fortnightly dances Held last year, are to be continued on alternate Tuesdays, in the Institute supper room, commencing next Tuesday. Practices were fixed for Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
