AUSTRALIAN RACING THREE PIPS WINS WARRNAM* BOOL CUP SPILLS IN' STEEPLES .MELBOURNE, 3rd May. The Warmambool Cup, run to-day, resulted: Three Pips 7.0 (Moran), i; Isle of Astur, 9.0 (A. Reed), 2; Eastern Chief, 8.10 (Breasley), 3. The Grand Annual Steeplechase re-’ suited: Flavedo, 9.12 (Sweetham), 1; Canilla,. 10.7 (Fullarton), 2; Merry Eve, 9.10 (Carter), 3. Every horse in this event either stopned, baulked or fell, and at one stage there was not a horse running. The winner, Flavedo, ( stopped once, fell once and eventually won easily. Merry Eve stopped twice. Canilda also fell, and was remounted. MUN-HO SUSPENDED FOR MONTH SYDNEY, 3rd May. The jockey D. Monro was suspended for one month for not- exercising sufficient care at the Kensington Races yesterday.
