TWO YOUTHS MISSING

SEARCH PARTIES OUT

(By Telegraph—Press Association) INVERCARGILL, 30th April. Anxiety was felt at Winton to-day for the safety of two Winton youths, W. Moore and F. Davis, who were lost from a deer-stalking party on Sunday, and had to spend Sunday night in the Lillburn Valley. No word of them bad been received this evening, and it was feared that tlie pair had wandered into the bush or that an accident had occurred. This afternoon a party left Winton in search of the youths, and to-morrow morning another search party is setting out. LOCATED BY SEARCH PARTY INVERCARGILL, This Day A report received last evening indicates that the missing deer stalkers W. Moore and F. Davis, who have been lost in the Lilburn valley since Sunday, have been located. It was stated that all parties had returned with the exception of three men. It had been arranged that if the youths were found two shots would lie tired, and as all parties heard the shots it is believed that the three men now out are with Messrs Moore and Davis. Another party set out last evening and it will make for the locality from which the shots were heard. It should reach there early in the morning and it is expected that the missing pair will have been brought out by midday to-day.
