GHOULISH CRIMES
GRAVES DESECRATED REVELATIONS IN MEXICO (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MEXICO CITY, 22nd April. Police in Merido, in the State of Yucatan, reveal revolting crimes by an organised gang of ghouls engaged in decapitating newly-buried bodies for the purpose of extracting gold teeth. They were detected when one of the members carrying an odd parcel was questioned by the police. The parcel was found to contain the head of a prominent citizen who recently died. Investigation revealed that over 2CO graves had been desecrated and the heads taken to a "reducing plant’’ where the gold was removed.
