Alar most of the things the chume do have a way of going wrong. They reached the show where Mrs Cook desired them to call, but when Gwen looked for the list of requirements it was gone. “Good gracious!” said Richard. “We must have lost it” They most certainly had. Wasn’t it a weary walk home! And of course Richard blamed Gwen and Gwen blamed Richard, , Fortunately they had not lost the money, so Mrs Cook wasn’t very angry, Ted said it was the “tiredest” good deed he’d ever done.
