UPROAR AT INQUIRY
THE PARIS RIOTS L’ACTION FRANCAISE MEMBERS ADVISED TO CARRY ARMS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 19th April, 12.35 p.m.) PARIS, 18th April. Disorder broke out at the riots inquiry when Admiral Sehwerer, one of Hie leaders of L'Action Franeaise admitted lie recommended Ills followers since the riots to carry arms, adding: “I hope if attacked they will defend themselves. They are not cowards.” Left members of the Commission immediately created an uproar shouting “Murderer!” “Assassin!” ‘Throw him out of the window!”
Admiral Sehwerer declared the aim of 70,000 members of L'Action Franeaise was to overthrow the republic, which was leading France to ruin.
