WOMEN INSTITUTES
The Nelson-Marl borough Provincial Federation of Women’s Lnstitutes is forming links in Takaka and district, and Miss E. M Parkes, voluntary organiser, Piclmiond, intends addressing meetings during the next fortnight. In anticipation of the' important annual Federation meeting at Wakefield in June it is felt the time has arrived for this district to be represented and keen interest is being taken by the ladies and the visit of Miss Parkes should meet with outstanding success for the movement.
