PRINCE GEORGE IN AFRICA EVERY PART OF UNION VISITED NOW HOMEWARD BOUND British Oliicial Wireless) RUGBY, lOLli April. At the conclusion of his two months’ African tour, during which lie has travelled 10,000 miles, l’rince George today left Labito, Portuguese West Africa, in the Windsor Castle. The Prince visited every part of the Union of South Africa, native territories, southern and northern Rhodesia, the Belgian Congo and Angola. Wherecver he went, whether among the white population or natives, Boer.-, or British, at public receptions or at isolated stations, lie was received with the most cordial demonstrations of affection and loyalty. Ho gained personal contact with the normal life of the people in towns and farms, ill mines, and in native kraals, and has gained an insight into the problems of each section of the population.
The “Morning Post” (o-day remarks: “Prince George has carried through his mission with charm and geniality which so many members of the Imperial family have learned to admire in iiis oldest brother, and ho will have enhanced the anticipations with which the peonies of Australia and New Zealand a'e awaiting his visit later in the'.year.”
