TRAIN WRECKED
INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS RAILS DELIBERATELY REMOVED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 11th April, 10.50 a.m.) VIENNA, 10th April. The international express Vienna to Paris was wrecked near Linz. The rails had been deliberately removed for thirty feet. The engine and two mail vans overturned and a sleeper derailed. A fireman was killed and six mail sorters seriously injured. There had been two previous wrecking attempts in the same neighbourhood in the last two years, but both were discovered in time.
