DEPARTMENTAL INQUIRY
’PLANE SMASH ON MT. HAWICINS (By Telegraph— Presß Association) WELLINGTON, 10th April. A departmental inquiry will be held into the aeroplane smash on Mount Hawkins on 17th March, when Mr Boucher, president of the Auckland Aero Club, was killed, and Mr Swan, secretary of the club, was injured. Although a certain amount of evidence has already been collected, further investigations remain to be made. Consequently the date of the inquiry has not yet been fixed.
