VALUE OF CLIP

AUCKLAND, This Day. At the three Auckland wool sales of the 1933 season 64,730 bales were offered and 62,087 were sold for £934,362 15s 2d The average price was £ls Is per bale, or 10.26 d per lb. The final sale of the season yielded £151,214 ss, which is more than double the return from the sale last year. But for the slight drop in value jn February and March, the Auckland wool clip wouid have again realised £1,000,000.
