Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 6th April, 1934 Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.c., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc.): Forth Island down lambs, 28/361bs, 7ld poi' lb; 36/42, 7£d. Best North Island crossbred lambs, 28/36, 7J,d; 36/42. 7 l-Bd. North Island second quality lambs, average 30/31, 7 l-Bd. Best North Island wether sheep under 48. 5J,d; 48/56, 5 l-8d; 56/64, 4£d; 64/72/ 4gd. North Island ewes, under 48, 4 l-8d ; 48/56, 3Jd; 56/64, 3gd ; 64/72, 3d. New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220, 2|d. Compared with last week’s quotations, lamb is unchanged. Wetli ers, 48/561bs and 64/721bs, l-8d per lb lower; 56/6ilbs gd per lb lower; ewes, 56/721bs, l-8d per lb lower; other unchanged. The market is quiet, and shows a weakening tendency all round.
