WANTED TO SEE SICK MOTHER (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 6th April. Frederick Hopkins lias been remanded for a week on a charge of stowing away on the Moldavia, at Fremantle. Ho pleaded that it was a son's love for his mother that made, him do it as the only way to reach bis mother, who is sick. Tile prosecution said it was intended to put Hopkins ashore at Co.omlio, but l.e disappeared and left a mile in a cabin suggesting that he had committed suicide, but be was seen walking the deck at Pori Said.
