RETIRING AMBASSADOR
FAREWELLED AT PARIS GIFT FROM ENGLISH COMMUNITY (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, sth Ajril. Lord Tyrrell, retiring British Ambassador. was given a farewell reception at the British Embassy at Paris to-day, the British colony presenting Lord Tyrrel with' a Morocco bound book bearing his coat-of-arms, and containing the names of subscribers to a number of farewell gifts. ENVOY AT BANGKOK SIR JOSIAH CROSBY RUGBY, sth April. The King has approved of the appointment of Sir Josiali Crosby, British Minister at Panama, to be Envoy at Bangkok in succession to Mr E. F. Former. Sir Joseph Crosby began his diplomatic career at Siam, and previously served at Bangkok as Vice-Consul in 1911, and lie was acting-Consul-General from 1919-20.
