• THE RANGE OF PRICES (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, 6th April. At the fourth Christchurch wool sale there was a small offering. Bidding was keen for the most part, though several seats were vacant. Recent values were maintained, with a lower tendency for the poorer sorts. The range of prices was: — Merino, 64/70, 60/64 —Super, 18d to 19|d; average to 171/d; inferior 12d to 15d. Corriedale —Super to 20d; average Ibid to 18d; inferior 13£d to 15. id. Fine halfbred, 58, £6/58, 56—Super 18£d to 20£d ; average 16Id to 18id ; inferior 14d to 16d. Medium halfbred, 50/56, 50—Super 16? dto 17id; average 14J,d to 16.^1; inferior 121 d to 14d. Extra fine crossbred, 48/50 —Average lOd to i2jd ; inferior 8d to 9id. Fine crossbred. 46/48 —Super to 9£d; average to 8-/(1 ; inferior 5J 1 to 7d. Medium crossbred, 44/46—Average 6jd to 7/d, inferior to 6d Bellies, halfbred—Good 13d to 13^d : Halfbred —Low to medium lid to In I.
