LESSONS FROM EARTHQUAKE (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day The executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce has communicated with constituent chambers asking them to urge upon respective local bodies the necessity of bringing into force reasonable regulations with regard to earthquake-resisting buildirtgs. It is considered that local bodies and not the Government should be the authorities to apply such regulations. .
