PAYMENT OF DIVIDEND (By Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, This Day. i he annual meeting of Kempthorne, .1 ro.sser, and Co.’s Now Zealand Drug Company was held yesterday. Ihe balance-sheet showed the net result of the year’s trading of £48,788 Ills lid. an improvement on last year’s figures of £l(i(!3. Adding to the net profit figures the "unppropriatod balance from last year of £.‘11.827 As Bd, and deducting the interim dividend of .‘if per cent., paid in September. there was left the sum of £110,211 0s 7d to ho dealt with.
Out, of tliis it was decided to pay a final dividend of 4 per cent, absorbing £2.‘{;.‘!2o, and to make a contribution nf £2noo to the staff provident fund, leaving £34,801 Os 7d to be carried to next year.
