__ Under the will of the late Mr Charles Francis Ward, of Blenheim, £IOOO has been bequeathed to the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington to be expended for Hie benefit of orphans in the archdiocese, and £IOO to the Home of Compassion, Island Bay. .
