DEATH OF TOD SLOAN
(United Press Association—By Electric i Telegraph—Copyright) NEW YORK, 22nd December. Tod Sloan, the once famous jockey, whose deatli occurred, was aged 60 years. Ho lias long suffered from a liver ailment. He was reputed to be penniless when he died, although he had earned millions on the- track. For a long time lie had been a patient in a country hospital. About three weeks ago friends removed him to a private institute.
