SHORT DISAPPEARANCE

Following the twenty-four hours’ disappearance of Jesse Livermoor, once called Wall Street’s “boy runner,” and known to be one of the most sensationalist market operators, fear was expressed by his family that he has been kidnapped. Livermore’s attorney, however, to-day stated {hat the operator had “been under a severe mental strain for some time.” A later message states that Livermore returned home this evening. He said he had merely felt ill the day before and spent the night in a hotel. When lie saw a newspaper headline of his alleged kidnapping lie immediately returned.
