MONETARY EXCHANGE PARTIAL ABANDONMENT OE CONTROL (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 30th November, 12.5 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, 29th November. The Argentine Government hy decree fixed tlie price of wheat at 62 cents a bushel, and corn at 44 on the basis of United States currency. The decree raised prices from 11 to 16 per cent, over the previous level. It also creates a grain regulation board to purchase money drafts from exporters and send them to firms needing foreign exchange by a. virtual auction system, the Government anticipating that this system will defray the expenses of the grain subsidy, leaving the Government a net profit. The Finance Minister announced that the Government was partially abandoning its control of monetary exchange in a move toward the re-establishment of a free exchange market, which has been non-existent since 26tli November, 1931.
