VISIT FROM TAKAKA CLUB During the week-end a return match with the Takaka Club was played on the Nelson links. Four balls and singles matches were played. The result was a win for the Nelson Club by a narrow margin. Results were as follows (Takaka players being mentioned first) : Fourballs: Richmond and Wright lost to J. A. Mitchell and McNiven; Hay and P. Baigent lost to Hoby and Kerridge; T. Baigent and Milward lost to Bone and J. W. Mitchell; May and Cashman beat Fell and West. Singles: Richmond beat McNiven. Wright lost to J. A. Mitchell. Hay beat Hoby, T. Baigent beat Kerridge, P. Baigent lost to Bone, Milward beat J. W. Mitchell, Murray lost to Fell, Cashman and West all square.
