INTER-COLLEGIATE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT CHRIST’S COLLEGE AND NELSON DRAW AFTER WONDERFUL GAME WANGANUI DEFEATED BY WELLINGTON CHRIST’S COLLEGE MEET WELLINGTON IN FINAL (By Telegraph. —From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, 19th August. The inter-CoUegiate Rugby tournament between Wellington College, Wanganui Collegiate School, Christ’s College and Nelson College was commenced on the Wellington College ground on Saturday afternoon, the games producing football of the usual high standard for inter-school games. Wellington defeated Wanganui easily by 28 points to 5 in the first game, and Christ’s and Nelson drew with 11 points each in the second. On Monday Nelson will play Wanganui in the first game and Christ’s and Wellington will play off in' the final. In the case of a draw the rules provide that the team which has not been in the final for the longest period, plays in the final. Nelson were in the final last year, thus Christ’s will be Wellington’s opponents on Monday.
