PROGRESS OF GRIMSBY
NEW FISH DOCK ■ Britiih Official Wireless) RUGBY, 19th August. Rapid progress is being made towards the completion of the £1,500,000 development scheme promoted by the Grimsby Corporation and the London North-Eastern Railway for a new fish dock at Grimsby, Yorkshire, which was a small village 70 years ago, and tod-ay has a population of 100,000. It is hoped that the work, which will be an important factor in expediting the marketing and despatch of fish to all parts of the United Kingdom, will be ready for general traffic at the end ol 1934.
