SUBSCRIPTIONS TO UNION (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Dav. An interesting test case will be beard here on 29th August, when several members of the Freezing Works and Related Trades Union who accepted the employers’ conditions during the last freezing season will bo sued for subscriptions to the union for a year. It is understood that 1000 men are affected, and the decision will have a far-reaching effect.
